CMMC Auditors About to Wrap Up Training

by Malachi Walker

Brace yourselves; because CMMC is coming and the opportunities will not be far behind. National Defense magazine has reported that the auditors are close to wrapping up training, which is expected to be complete by the end of this month. With the training comes the standards being expected for newly issued contracts from the pentagon.

In 2021 the pentagon plans to have contracts with CMMC rules included that will include 1,500 companies. That number is expected to grow exponentially by fiscal year 2022, where the pentagon plans to involve 7,500 additional companies, and again in 2023; where there will be 250 contracts involving 25,000 companies. Read more about this growth and information regarding CMMC training and in Yasmin Tadjeh’s article from the National Defense Magazine
